Karen J. Lloyd is a New England artist whose focus is the beauty of nature, and expressing this "heart" in art: primarily in the mediums of photography, acrylic and watercolor. She also enjoys hand painting original designs on magnets and ornaments. Through each of these mediums, Karen hopes her art serves as a meaningful ambassador for the beauty of animals and the natural world. At the 2009 Champlain Valley Fair Art Show, Karen's photography entries "Fair Parade Percherons" and "Dragonfly Trio" received 3rd place and Honorable Mention awards respectively. In April 2010, "Fair Parade Percherons" won the honor of the People's Choice Award at Everything Equine Art Extravaganza.
